The distinct flavour of Bollywood will infuse the evening and provide colourful, wholesome entertainment. Rhythm and Spice, one of Australia’s best Bollywood bands will have everyone Bollywood dancing to an array of fun routines. Two of country music’s most revered women will be honoured, as Kaye Payne belts out Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline’s greatest hits. Hobart institution Morning Glory will follow with covers of your favourite songs so you can dance the night away.

ACUMEN, Tasmania’s premier DJ / VJ combination, will serve up something different. This live DJ/ Digital art incarnation will take listeners and viewers on a sensory exploration. They will push audio visual boundaries by blending the turntable skills that have earned DJ Dameza national recognition and the mind blowing digital art skills of VJ Sloth as he digitally sketches, paints, chops and loops video, text and graphics. This combination will form a true visual representation of the audio attack that DJ Dameza provides and is sure to turn heads.

The skies of Hobart will come alive with light and colour during a family fireworks display in Sullivans Cove at 9.30pm and a grand fireworks display on the waterfront at midnight, promising something special to bring in 2010.

Come with a group and book a table or buy a general entry ticket and move around the party. Join in and dance, absorb the visuals and toast in the New Year at the Festival.
